Abri Spies
Danelia Venter
Abri Spies is the Director, Key Individual, and
Financial Advisor of Kapgro Risk (Pty) Ltd.
In 1996 he obtained a Bachelor of Law degree and
in 1998 entered the financial services sector. He
started his career in Insurance as a Broker
Consultant and Marketing Advisor by Nedcor
Investment Bank and Momentum between 1998
and 2003. Thereafter he was appointed as a
Business Development Manager in 2003 for
Momentum in the rural areas of Free Sate, North
West, Limpopo and Mpumalanga. In 2008 he
pursued a partnership with a well-established
brokerage in Nelspruit, namely Pinnacle
Healthcare, who has since had a name change to
Affluence Group.
Abri has acquired extensive knowledge of the
short-term personal and commercial lines
insurance, and he has built a reputation for
excellent customer services within the financial
services sector.
Danelia Venter started her career in 1990 in the
financial services sector at SA Eagle Insurance
Company, which later changed to Zurich Insurance
Group. She completed her Diploma in Law at the
University of South Africa in 1997 and thereafter
commenced with the regulatory examinations.
In 2011 Danelia joined Etana Insurance, which was
bought over by Hollard Insurance in 2013, as a
Broker Consultant.
Danelia has been a part of the Kapgro Risk team
since 2020, and she has extensive experience in
surveys and risk management, thus making her an
ideal broker to give specialised advice to the
everyday person.
